Founder and Counselor
Kelly Ryan, MS, LCPC
Kelly has been working in the mental health field for over 15 years and is passionate about her work and clients. She values getting to know her clients' stories and understanding their experience, in order to identify what's contributing to the struggle, help build skills, and empower clients to navigate whatever life throws their way.

Kelly is a licensed practitioner in the state of Montana. She meet clients in-person with her therapy dog, Fred, and remotely for those seeking telehelath services. Kelly accepts insurance and is contracted with BCBS, Aetna, Allegiance, Cigna, First Choice, EBMS, Mountain Health Coop, and PacificSource.

Counselor
Rachel Robertson, MA, PCLC
Rachel is passionate about serving those struggling with low self-confidence, anxiety, trauma, and grief and loss as she understands the impact this can have on the personal and professional life. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients feel confident, heal, and live healthy lives where they can be their authentic self.

Rachel completed her MA in counseling at Northwestern University. She is a pre-license candidate (PCLC) working at KR Counseling to become fully licensed in the state of Montana. Rachel provides telehealth services and accepts BCBS, Aetna, PacificSource, and Mountain Health Coop insurance.

Mascot and Co-Counselor
Fred
Fred is the in-house therapy dog, and all around, good guy. He is compassionate, calm, and soft. The perfect co-counselor for digging into the hard stuff. Fred likes a good snuggle, but is also happy to support you from across the room as well.

Mascot and Co-Counselor
Laura, Intern
Laura is deeply passionate about supporting students navigating grief and loss, especially those within the LGBTQ+ community and those who are neurodivergent. They believe in creating a safe and affirming space where individuals can process their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and find healing on their own terms.
​
Laura is currently earning their Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from Adam's State University. They graduated with a degree in public health and continue to demonstrate a passion for empowering individuals with health and wellness. They are interested in further developing their clinical skills at KR Counseling, using holistic counseling approaches to support healing.

Laura accepts a sliding scale fee for sessions.
